Welcome to Vic Brewbar
The Vic Brewbar is the South Island’s first fully-fledged Mac’s Brewbar. Found in the historic Victorian Rose building on Trafalgar Street and known by locals as the “Vic Rose”, the Brewbar is a unique Nelson pub and restaurant that offers live entertainment every weekend, great service from friendly staff, delicious food and all your favourite beers on tap. It’s no wonder The Vic Rose is a staple of the local hospitality industry!
We boast two outdoor seating areas so you can make the most of a sunny day with a Mac’s beer and plenty of room indoors with small tables for two or larger seating for a meal with friends. Head Chef, Chris Williams has designed a menu that showcases the best of local produce: check out the roast of the day, our Mac’s beer battered blue cod and chips, gourmet burgers and the homemade daily specials - everything on the menu goes perfectly with one of Mac’s finest beers. Our dessert menu is filled with treats too, able to satiate any sweet tooth.
