Located in the historical Victorian Rose building on Trafalgar Street, Mac’s is the South Island’s first fully fledged Mac’s Brewbar. The Vic Brewbar or “Vic Rose” as it is known by the locals!
In true Mac’s style the Victorian Rose building has a modern feel but we have done things a little bit differently, and The Vic promises to be just that – different.
The Vic, is an iconic part of the Nelson hospitality scene and a favourite with locals and visitors alike. With two outdoor seating areas, you will never be short of that sunny spot to enjoy your favourite Mac’s beer. Head Chef Chris Williams has created a menu that boasts fresh, local produce and homemade daily specials. The menu is rich with options and Mac’s inspired creations such as the famous Roast of the day, the best ribs in town, Mac’s beer battered blue cod and chips, and gourmet burgers. For those with a sweet tooth there are some tasty homemade desserts. Perfect to enjoy whilst sipping down some of Mac’s finest beers!
